Eligible Blue Shield of California members also receive:

Eligible members can also receive guidance from a Health Advisor on services that are recommended for you in the app, learn about select covered benefits, or get educational information about your medications.

- Who provides care at Walgreens Health Corner?
Walgreens Health Corner services are provided by licensed pharmacists and nurses who are committed to your health. Each Health Corner location has a small staff that is eager to get to know you and support your health.
- I’m a Blue Shield of California member, but I don’t have a prescription at Walgreens pharmacy. Can I still receive Walgreens Health Corner services?
Yes! You’re welcome to use Walgreens Health Corner services even if you do not have a prescription at the Walgreens pharmacy.
- Do I need to make an appointment to speak with a Health Advisor and receive Health Corner serv
Walk-ins are always welcome, and select services are offered regardless of your health insurance provider. You can also schedule an appointment by calling your nearby Health Corner at participating Walgreens locations. Eligible Blue Shield of California members can download the Walgreens Health Corner app to locate the Health Corner nearest you and to make an appointment to see a Health Advisor.
- I’m not a Blue Shield of California member, can I still visit Walgreens Health Corner to receive services?
Everyone is welcome at Walgreens Health Corner, but certain health services are available only to eligible Blue Shield of California members. Everyone can get help with common health concerns like nutrition, sleep and skincare, over-the-counter vitamins and supplements assistance or setting up select health devices, regardless of health plan enrollment. Eligible Blue Shield of California members have access to blood pressure and BMI checks, blood sugar tests (HbA1c), and health screenings for select conditions, all with zero copay.
- What is the Walgreens Health Corner app?
For eligible members of participating health plans, the Walgreens Health Corner app helps you manage and organize much of your daily health in one easy place, even when you’re on the go. Find your closest Walgreens Health Corner location, schedule an appointment with a Health Advisor and see recommended wellness checks to maintain your health.
- Who can use the Walgreens Health Corner app?
Currently, only eligible members of participating health plans can download and create an account for the Walgreens Health Corner app, but we’re continually working to expand both our services and eligibility.
- How do I download the Walgreens Health Corner app?
To download the app, visit the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). Once you have installed the Walgreens Health Corner app, launch the app and sign-up or sign-in following the prompts. Please note, currently only eligible members of participating health plans can create Walgreens Health Corner app accounts.
