Oysters

You've likely seen people pop zinc tablets like they're candy when they feel the first signs of flu. Turns out the mineral plays a crucial role in fighting infections, and people who don't have enough are more likely to get sick as a result. To get more zinc in your diet, enjoy some fresh oysters. The shellfish contain more zinc per serving than any other food. Other good sources of the mineral include beef, crab, lobster and fortified breakfast cereal.
