Program Details
- Which items are eligible for Delivery at Walgreens?
Most items eligible for Pickup are eligible for Delivery except for gift cards, oversize items, alcohol and photo products.
- What are the Delivery hours?
For most stores, same-day delivery is offered from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., but some stores may vary. You can view your estimated delivery arrival in your Cart. To schedule a specific delivery time, you can also edit your delivery time in Checkout. If you place your order outside our same-day delivery window, we normally deliver the next day before noon.
- How can I return an item?
Bring the items and their receipt back to the store. Call the store that fulfilled the order if there are issues with your Delivery.
- How does Delivery at Walgreens work?
On Walgreens.com or the Walgreens App, shop products with Delivery as your fulfillment option. Next, enter your delivery address to see product and delivery availability. Add items to your cart and place your order. We’ll send you delivery updates via email and/or text.
Please note: we may source your order from multiple stores, so your order may arrive in multiple deliveries.
- Which stores offer Delivery?
Same Day Delivery service is available at most Walgreens stores starting in April 2021. However, our specialty pharmacies will not offer this service. Please check our Store Locator for a store near you.
- Can I call to place my order if I don't have internet access and can't use Walgreens.com or the Walgreens App?
Call Walgreens.com Customer Care directly at 877-250-5823 to place your order.
Placing an Order
- Can I order online at Walgreens and get my order delivered from the store same day?
Yes! Our Delivery service makes it easy to shop your local store online at Walgreens.com or with the Walgreens App. We offer delivery in as little as 1 hour for orders placed during our delivery hours. One of our delivery partners will deliver your order to you. Choose from a wide range of available products in our stores and one of our delivery partners will bring your order to you.
- Is there a fee for Delivery?
Yes, there is a fee for delivery. Fees vary by store and will be shown when adding products to your shopping cart.
- Is my prescription eligible for Same Day Delivery at Walgreens?
Prescription delivery is not part of this Same Day Delivery service, but it is available separately through our Rx Same Day Delivery program. Please contact our pharmacy or learn more about Rx Same Day Delivery.
- Can I place an order to be delivered to someone else?
Yes, just be sure to enter the contact information and delivery address for the recipient.
- Can I order Same Day Delivery and some items for Pickup or Ship to Home at the same time?
Same Day Delivery items and Ship to Home or Ship to Store items can be ordered at the same time. However, Same Day Delivery items cannot be combined with Pickup.
Pricing and Promotions
- Can I apply coupons, promotions and discounts to my Delivery order?
Digital or paperless coupons can be redeemed when you place your online order. Paper coupons are not accepted at time of Delivery.
- Can I get in-store deals and promotional offers on my Delivery order?
Yes, as long as your myWalgreens account is linked to your Walgreens.com account. Most store promotions are automatically included with your order, but digital or paperless coupons must be clipped to your account to be applied to your Delivery order at online checkout. Promotions requiring online codes must be added during online checkout.
- Can I earn myWalgreens Cash rewards on my order?
Yes! You can earn myWalgreens Cash rewards on Delivery orders.
- Can I redeem myWalgreens Cash on my Delivery order?
Yes! myWalgreens Cash rewards can be redeemed on Delivery orders at online checkout.
Delivery Process
- How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
If you place your order during delivery hours, your order will be delivered to your home in as little as 1 hour. Orders placed outside delivery hours will be delivered on the next business day.
- How will I know when my Delivery is on its way?
We'll email you when your order is out for delivery. If you are subscribed to text notifications, you’ll also receive notifications via text. By submitting an order, you agree to receive order and delivery updates from our delivery courier partners to your mobile phone number.
- Do I have to be home to sign for my Delivery order?
No, unless your order contains age-restricted items, your delivery courier will leave your order on your doorstep or elsewhere if specified in your delivery notes.
If your order contains age-restricted items, the recipient must present a valid government ID to the courier at delivery.
- What is contactless Delivery?
With contactless Delivery, the driver leaves your order right at your doorstep. While our Delivery partners may contact you by phone, you can stay safe and avoid interacting with drivers.
- What happens if the driver is unable to deliver the order?
If the driver is unable to deliver the order, they will bring it back to the store. We will let you know that the order could not be delivered. Customers will receive a refund for all of the items in their order but they are still responsible for the delivery fee since delivery was attempted.
- Who do I contact with questions or concerns about my Delivery order?
Call the store that fulfilled the order with questions about the Delivery order.
- How will I receive my receipt?
Paper receipts may not print for Same Day Delivery orders. A receipt can be found on your Walgreens.com account, or in the email that is sent once you receive your order.
Cancellation and Issues
- Can I cancel my Delivery order?
Yes, call your store as soon as possible to cancel the order. However, once the order has been picked up by one of our delivery partners it can no longer be cancelled.
- What happens if an item in my order is out of stock?
If you indicated substitutions would be accepted during the checkout process, the store will do its best to find an equivalent item. You will not be charged more than the cost of the original item. If the substitute costs less, you will be charged the lesser amount. You may receive a call from the store to ask if an alternate brand or product meets your needs instead. If you choose not to accept substitutions, then the item will be marked out of stock. You will be notified by email of any substituted or out-of-stock items.
