Walgreens nine Business Resource Groups (BRGs) help team members meet at the corner of inclusion, education and engagement. These employee-driven grassroots organizations enable team members to learn, network and collaborate, and help connect Walgreens more closely to the multicultural and multifaceted communities we serve.
Through their programs, events and initiatives, Walgreens BRGs help attract, engage, develop and retain diverse talent, and they help to enhance Walgreens brand, reputation and community engagement. Each BRG is sponsored by a senior executive, conducts monthly leadership and member meetings, and submits annual strategic plans and operating budgets for approval by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. BRGs are inclusive of all regular (full, part-time, and flexible work leave of absence) team members. Any regular team member can join any of Walgreens BRGs. No religious or political affiliation BRGs are permitted to formalize at Walgreens.
